The Lakeside Tented Lodges overlook our dam and the surrounding Tsitsikamma Mountains, offering peaceful water views, private decks and braai facilities. The Forest Tented Lodge is tucked beneath the trees on the edge of the Tsitsikamma forest, offering a more secluded setting with forest and grassland views. Both provide spacious glamping-style accommodation with breakfast included.
Children can be accommodated in our Family Tented Lodge, which features two bedrooms, a kitchenette, lounge area and one bathroom. The other three Tented Lodges are not family units and are best suited to couples or adult guests. Please contact our reservations team for specific child age requirements and occupancy details.
Yes. The Pavilion Tented Lodges at Misty Mountain Reserve are permanent glamping structures with solid roofs and raised deck flooring, combined with canvas sides for an authentic tented experience. The lodges are secure and designed to offer the comfort of a permanent structure while still keeping guests close to nature.
All Tented Lodges at Misty Mountain Reserve have private bathroom facilities, including a separate toilet, an indoor walk-in shower and an en-suite slipper bath. Two of the Lakeside Tented Lodges also feature an outdoor shower
All Tented Lodges at Misty Mountain Reserve have heaters, electric blankets and ceiling fans. Lakeside Tents 2 and 3 have air conditioning with heating and cooling, while the Forest Tented Lodge also has air conditioning.
All Tented Lodges at Misty Mountain Reserve have complimentary Wi-Fi. The reserve also has backup generator power to assist during electricity outages, helping guests stay comfortable and connected throughout their stay.
All Tented Lodge bookings at Misty Mountain Reserve include breakfast. Lunch and dinner are available at our on-site restaurant at an additional cost, and guests can also order braai or picnic baskets during their stay.
Yes. All Tented Lodges at Misty Mountain Reserve have their own braai facilities, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed outdoor meal surrounded by nature. Braai baskets are also available to order at an additional cost.
