All four Hives offer the same luxury features, but each has its own unique style and atmosphere. Jungle Hive is earthy and nature-inspired, Storm Hive is darker and more dramatic, Sunset Hive is warm and positioned for beautiful sunset views, and Cloud Hive is light, airy and overlooks the ocean.
Each Hive accommodates a maximum of 2 adults. The Hives are adults-only and are not suitable for children.

Yes. Every Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve has its own private heated plunge pool. The correct term is heated plunge pool, rather than hot tub.

The Hives at Misty Mountain Reserve are designed to offer a high level of privacy, with private decks, outdoor showers and bathing areas positioned to minimise views from neighbouring units and walking routes.
A Hive stay at Misty Mountain Reserve in Tsitsikamma includes breakfast. Lunch, dinner and refreshments are additional unless included in a special package. Braai and picnic baskets are also available at an extra cost.
Each Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve in Tsitsikamma has air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi, with a backup generator to provide power during outages.
Access to the Hives may include steps, raised walkways and uneven natural pathways. Guests with limited mobility should contact our Reservations Office on 041 582 1461 before booking so we can recommend the most suitable option.
The Jungle Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve has a warm, earthy design inspired by the surrounding Tsitsikamma forest. It offers the same ocean views and luxury features as the other Hives, but with a more natural, jungle-inspired feel.
The Storm Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve has a darker, moodier design inspired by dramatic Tsitsikamma weather. It offers the same ocean views and luxury features as the other Hives, but with a more cosy and romantic atmosphere.
The Sunset Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve is designed around warm, golden tones and beautiful ocean views. It also features an outdoor chill net, perfect for relaxing under the Tsitsikamma sky.
Guests may request a specific Hive by name, subject to availability. Your selected Hive is confirmed once the Reservations Office confirms your booking.
The Cloud Hive at Misty Mountain Reserve has a light, tranquil design with beautiful ocean views. It also features a private swing, making it a unique spot to relax and take in the Tsitsikamma scenery.
